“A Red Moment, Cornwall” This is one of those truly magical images. There was a heavy cloud above my head as I headed down to my favourite spot, Porth Kidney. On the horizon I could just see the glimmer of colour which made me think it could be a cracking dawn but nothing could prepare me for what developed. The tide was perfect and the wet sand reflected the stunning sky giving the truly magnificent scene. I can remember not believing my eyes and to be honest not wanting it to end. This sort of daybreak only really lasts about 5 minutes before it gets too bright so I feel very lucky to have captured such a breathtaking photograph. It is best viewed in a dark frame. “Waiting for an Angel” I took this picture around the time that I created a short film about the first year of my eldest daughter, Ella’s first year. I used a beautiful piece of music Waiting on an Angel by Ben Harper. It reminds me of a wonderful time in my life, both my business and lovely daughter were a year old. The photograph has many elements that I like including the wispy cloud that keep seeing different shapes in including an Angel. (Date Search – 4th June 2006 picture number 7)
