Porthkidney Beach - 4:15am
My alarm went off at 3.45 this morning and I thought I had overslept as light was
coming in through the curtains. I rushed to the window and could see that the dawn was already starting to glow so threw on my gear and headed off down to Porth Kidney. Looking east there wasn't a cloud in the sky but I could see thick cloud rolling in from the North, I was hoping it wouldn't come across too quickly and block out the sunrise. When it did come across it added to the drama of the scene and the underbelly lit up with deep rich reds, a truly stunning start to the day.
