On this morning
Mothering Sunday dawned with a veil of high cloud and the lightest of breezes to give a very tranquil feel to the shoot this morning. The waves were no bigger than ripples and made the softest swooshing sound over the sands. Even the birds seemed quiet today. The rising sun back-lit the clouds for a few lovely moments of colour right on the tip of the headland.
Birthdays today include Albert Einstein, Michael Caine and the charming Pam Ayres.
