On this morning
Finding tranquility on this misty, calm, grey morning was not difficult, but conveying the peaceful solitude I was enjoying through a photograph is hard work. The falling tide was leaving pristine sand over which small waves were running gently up to my feet. A small group of inquisitive gulls eyed me curiously as I crouched in the wet sand, flapping lazily out of range as I moved to try different angles. Obligingly, contrast appeared in the clouds to add more perspective and I headed back to the studio quietly satisfied with this serene start to the day.
Birthdays today include soul singing star Wilson Pickett, and Irene Cara of "Fame" fame!
