On this morning

Respect! In the time that I've been going out and taking photographs of the dawn I have never experienced what I had this morning.
It was high tide so I went up to the Island and for about 5 minutes there was a lovely pink haze which I was lucky to capture and as quickly as it came it soon disappeared. I then went on to the west side of the Island and down onto the rock. The swell was huge and amazing to watch. It was if I couldn't pull myself away from it. Setting up my camera on the rocks and and wanting to take photographs of every wave that hit the shore line, I really didn't notice that the sets of waves were getting bigger, until one hit me full on, not enough to take me off my feet but enough to completely soak me through to the sink and drench the camera.
However, looking back over this mornings images I am really pleased with the end results. But also knowing I still and always will have the upmost respect to the sea.
