On this morning
As I left home a little before 6am the full moon was magnificent with vapour trails almost framing it in the sky. I hurried to the Island as the very high tides gave no beach to shoot on. The sky was already glowing as I took my first pictures, there was little wind and the sea had a lovely sheen to it. As the light grew the faint high clouds picked up the pinks and oranges until the sun crept over the horizon. Seals were playing in the bay and about an hour after sunrise a pod of porpoises were spotted in the bay too!
