On this morning
It was raining quite hard as I arrived at Porthgwidden beach for today’s photographs and I was a little concerned as I clambered into my waterproofs and headed toward the waters edge. As the light grew however the clouds broke and I was treated to a lovely clean, fresh light that often follows rain. The waves were pushing a long way up the sands against the strong wind and gave me perhaps my favourite shot of the morning, number 3, I think it really has a feeling of movement about it. The clouds continued to disperse and the mirror-like sands reflected them perfectly, a great end to the shoot. The photographs capture a variety of moods, hopefully one will match your memories of that special celebration today.
