On this morning
It had to happen sometime and this morning was the time for me!
Not going into to much detail but I was hit by a freak wave that surged up the beach and took me and my camera clean off my feet. Not a good start! Picking my camera up out of the sea and watching a deluged of water pour out of it. My heart sank deeper than the water that had filled my boots. Running back to the car all I could think about was six and a half years of dawn photographs and I’m not going to miss this one. I drove back to the studio, picked up the spare camera and quickly returned to the beach. Although cold and wet through to the skin, I caught some lovely shots of a dawn that I wouldn’t forget.
The camera and lens is now being repaired.
