About This Day
Carbis Bay Beach & Hawkes Point
This morning I headed to Carbis Bay beach know that, at high tide on Porthgwidden, I'd have very little sand to play with.
It was a challenging morning. Over night the swell had really risen, and with an onshore freezing wind, the waves creating a rolling mass of white water and sea foam conditions.
With some colour in the clear sky I started to get what water movement pictures I could. After half an hour of this with the colour fading quickly I headed to Hawkes Point to get out the spray and was rewarded with the last bit of morning colour as the sun rose over Lelant dunes.
